Healing Through Music and Justice
Discover PJAM’s journey, values, and the passionate team transforming lives through music therapy and restorative justice.
Our Story & Mission
PJAM was founded on the belief that music can be a powerful force for positive change, even within prison walls. Recognizing the urgent need to address domestic violence and support rehabilitation, our founders saw an opportunity to harness music therapy as a pathway toward healing and growth for incarcerated individuals.
Through our specialized programs, participants are invited to create, perform, and learn music as a means of confronting personal histories and building new, healthier patterns. By exploring diverse genres and instruments, individuals discover new ways to express themselves, process difficult emotions, and foster empathy.
Our dedicated team brings together experience in music education, therapy, and restorative justice. United by compassion and a commitment to social impact, we guide participants on their journey toward self-awareness, accountability, and hope for a brighter future.
